Become an Age Check Auditor
One of Centrebound’s specialist services is age verification auditing.
Age Check Auditors help companies assess whether employees are correctly following policies such as Challenge 25 when selling or delivering age-restricted products.
Assignments can involve attempting to purchase products such as alcohol, tobacco, lottery products or other age-restricted goods and recording whether the correct age-verification procedure was followed.
Because these audits need people within a specific age range, applicants to our current Age Check Auditor programme must be 17 to 21 years old.
You must also be legally permitted to undertake self-employed work in the UK.
Age verification auditing is an important compliance service. Businesses use the results to understand how consistently their procedures are being followed and where additional staff training or operational improvements may be required.
How Much Can You Earn?
Centrebound Age Check Auditors are currently paid between £15 and £50 per age check survey, depending on the particular assignment.
For some assignments, you may also be able to keep the product or item you have been asked to purchase or order.
Payment is made directly into your bank account within seven days of successfully completing an audit.
The number and type of assignments available will vary according to your location, your eligibility for individual projects and current client requirements. Mystery shopping therefore works particularly well as a flexible source of additional income rather than conventional guaranteed-hours employment.
